OCU's School of Theatre prepares students with the skills and experience needed to thrive in today's entertainment industry. Our alumni continue to build successful careers across every facet of the profession, sharing their talents as storytellers in communities around the world.

HALL OF HONOR

The School of Theatre Hall of Honor highlights the contributions of distinguished alumni, former faculty, and staff who have demonstrated a commitment to the continued growth and celebration of the OCU School of Theatre and have made a significant impact on the performing arts community at the local, state, national, or international level.

  • Honorees are inducted into the Hall of Fame once a year.  Should nominee(s) be selected for induction, the 2027 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony WILL BE ON APRIL 8th, 2027.
  • The School of Theatre does not assure that inductees will be chosen each year.
  • The School of Theatre Hall of Fame Committee will accept nominations year round, however only nomination applications submitted/received by September 15, 2026 will be considered for review for 2027 Hall of Honor induction. If you would like to nominate someone, please complete the form belowincluding submitting the required letters of support and CV or biography documenting the nominee’s significant accomplishments and contributions to the theatre arts.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  All requested information in the requested format must be submitted. Self-nominations are accepted. 

Only former students, staff, faculty, and administrators are eligible for nomination in the School of Theatre Hall of Honor.

STUDENT ALUMNI

  1. Have attended and/or made significant contributions to the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ (OCU) School of Theatre. The award may be given posthumously.
  2. Have made significant contributions to the theatrical arts in their community at the state, regional, national or international level in alignment with the values and ideals of ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ and the School of Theatre
  3. Have achieved or contributed to an organization’s measurable success in service to the theatrical arts including performance, production, arts administration, education, and advocacy.
  4. Graduates of the OCU School of Theatre must be at least 5 years post-graduation. Alumni that did not graduate from the School of Theatre, including those holding degrees from other OCU programs, are eligible with at least 10 years of professional experience.

FORMER STAFF / FACULTY

  1. Current ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ School of Theatre employees are ineligible, with the exception being an employee with greater than 10 years of service who has announced retirement.
  2. Must have been staff, faculty, or administration in the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ School of Theatre for 10 years or more. The award may be given posthumously.
  3. Have made significant contributions to the community, state, nation or world in a way that represent the best ideals of the School of Theatre
  4. Have exhibited leadership, character and/or service that inspires others and embodies the professional and civic standard of excellence held by ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.
  5. Must be recognized as a positive role model and person of character, one of uncommon dedication who goes beyond the call of duty to assist students, staff and/or parents.
